Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you open MIDDAG Account in the WordPress admin. It answers one question: what needs my attention right now?

Instead of checking each section separately, the Dashboard aggregates pending items, overdue records, and expiring entitlements into a single view. Open it once in the morning and you know exactly where to start.

Stat cards

At the top of the Dashboard, six stat cards show counts of items that need action:

CardWhat it counts
Quotes PendingQuotes in sent or viewed status waiting for the customer
Orders PendingOrders in processing or on-hold status
Invoices OverdueInvoices past their due date that have not been paid
Entitlements ExpiringActive entitlements expiring within the next 30 days
Service Requests OpenService requests in pending, assigned, or in_progress
Environments MaintenanceEnvironments currently in maintenance status

Each card is clickable. Click "Invoices Overdue" and you are taken directly to the Invoices list filtered to show only overdue records.

If you have the Company Context Switcher set to a specific entity (MIDDAG BR or MIDDAG GLOBAL), the stat cards reflect only that entity's data. Set it to "All" to see the combined view.

Action items table

Below the stat cards, the Action Items table merges pending and urgent items from across all domains into a single list, sorted by urgency. This is the "to-do list" the system builds for you every day.

Each row shows:

  • Type -- the kind of record (Quote, Invoice, Entitlement, Service Request, etc.)
  • Reference -- the record code or number (e.g., QUO-20260401, INV-00142, SVC-202604-0001)
  • Organization -- the customer this item belongs to
  • Due / Expiring -- when the item needs attention (e.g., "3 days," "Overdue," "30 days")
  • Action -- a "View" link that takes you directly to the record's detail page

Items are color-coded by urgency: overdue items appear in red, items due within 7 days in yellow, and items due within 30 days in neutral.

The table updates every time you load the Dashboard. There is no manual refresh needed.

Recent activity timeline

At the bottom of the Dashboard, a chronological feed shows the latest events across the system:

  • Quotes accepted or rejected
  • Entitlements created, suspended, or reactivated
  • Invoices paid
  • Orders completed
  • Environments entering or leaving maintenance
  • Collaborators invited or removed

Each entry shows a description, the related entity (clickable link), and a relative timestamp ("2 hours ago," "1 day ago"). You can filter the timeline by event type using the dropdown above it.

Quick actions

The Dashboard header includes two quick actions:

  • Create Organization -- opens the new Organization form directly, skipping the Organizations list
  • Search -- a global search field (also accessible via Cmd+K) that searches across organization names, tax IDs, entitlement codes, quote numbers, invoice numbers, and collaborator emails. Results are grouped by type.

Company context switcher

A toggle in the MIDDAG Account content area lets you switch between viewing data for All, MIDDAG BR, or MIDDAG GLOBAL. This filter applies to the entire Dashboard: stat cards, action items, activity timeline, and search results all reflect the selected context.

The active context is shown as a badge next to the toggle so you always know which entity's data you are looking at.
