MIDDAG Account is a hub centralizer for B2B customer lifecycle management. It connects specialized tools rather than replacing them. This page clarifies what the plugin deliberately does not do and why.

The Hub Philosophy

MIDDAG Account sits at the center of your operations stack. It receives data from payment processors, CRMs, and service tools, then unifies that data around organizations and entitlements. It does not attempt to be a better version of the tools it integrates with.

What MIDDAG Account Does NOT Do

Full CRM

MIDDAG Account syncs contacts and deals from HubSpot. It does not provide:

• Lead scoring or nurturing
• Email sequences or drip campaigns
• Sales pipeline management
• Marketing automation

Use instead: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or any CRM that fits your workflow. MIDDAG Account will sync the relevant data.

Ticketing System

Service Requests track tasks against entitlements with SLA monitoring, and sync to Jira. MIDDAG Account does not provide:

• Full helpdesk UI with queues and routing
• Customer-facing ticket portal with real-time chat
• Agent assignment and workload balancing
• Knowledge base or self-service articles

Use instead: Jira Service Management, Chatwoot (planned integration), Zendesk, or Freshdesk.

Payment Processing

MIDDAG Account integrates with Stripe and Banco Inter for payment collection. It does not:

• Process credit cards directly
• Handle PCI compliance
• Manage payment disputes or chargebacks
• Act as a payment gateway

Use instead: Stripe, Banco Inter, or any WooCommerce-compatible payment gateway.

Storefront or E-Commerce

MIDDAG Account relies on WooCommerce for the shopping experience. It does not provide:

• Product catalog pages or shopping cart
• Checkout flow or coupon management
• Shipping or inventory management
• Customer-facing product browsing

Use instead: WooCommerce (required companion), with any compatible theme.

Email Marketing

While the plugin sends transactional emails (welcome, invoice, renewal notice), it does not provide:

• Newsletter management
• Subscriber lists or segmentation
• Campaign analytics or A/B testing
• Template builders for marketing emails

Use instead: Mailchimp, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, or any email marketing tool.

Project Management

The Project domain (planned) will track service delivery milestones linked to contracts. It does not replace:

• Sprint planning or agile boards
• Time tracking or resource allocation
• Team collaboration or document editing
• Gantt charts or dependency management

Use instead: Jira, Linear, Asana, or Monday.com.

Accounting

MIDDAG Account generates invoices and tax invoices (NFSe). It does not provide:

• General ledger or chart of accounts
• Tax filing or compliance reporting
• Accounts payable
• Financial statements or audit trails

Use instead: Your accounting software. Invoice and tax invoice data can be exported or synced.
