Documents & Downloads
The Documents and Downloads screens manage files shared with and about customer organizations. Documents include signed contracts, reports, certificates, technical specifications, and any other files relevant to a customer relationship. Downloads are product files (plugin ZIPs, software packages) that customers access through the MIDDAG App.

Access control
Document visibility follows the collaborator scope model. A document linked to an organization is visible to collaborators of that organization based on their role and scope. Admins can see all documents. The documents scope in the RBAC system controls who can view, create, and manage documents through the API.
Downloads
Downloads are read-only in MIDDAG Account. They are product files managed by WooCommerce (plugin ZIPs, software packages). The Downloads list shows what files are available and tracks download activity.
Downloads list
The downloads section (accessible from the Products navigation group) shows:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Product | The WooCommerce product name |
| File | Filename and version |
| Downloads | Total download count |
| Last Downloaded | Most recent download date |
Download tracking
Each download record tracks:
- Who downloaded (user ID and email)
- When (timestamp)
- From where (IP address)
- Which version
This information is useful for auditing license compliance and understanding product adoption.
