Organizations

The Organizations screens are where you spend most of your time. An Organization is a customer -- a company, institution, or business entity. From the Organization detail view, you can see everything about a customer relationship in one place: entitlements, collaborators, orders, invoices, contracts, and activity.

List view

When you open MIDDAG Account > Organizations, you see a table of all organizations in the system.

Columns

ColumnWhat it shows
NameThe trade name of the organization (clickable -- opens detail)
Tax IDCNPJ, EIN, or VAT number
StatusActive or Draft with color indicators
VerificationVerified, Pending, Under Review, or Rejected
EntitlementsCount of active entitlements
Billing EntityBR or GLOBAL -- which MIDDAG entity bills this customer
CreatedDate the organization was created

Above the table, you can narrow down the list:

  • Search -- type a name, tax ID, email, or Stripe/HubSpot ID to find a specific organization
  • Status -- filter by Active or Draft
  • Verification -- filter by Verified, Pending, Under Review, or Rejected
  • Billing Entity -- filter by MIDDAG BR, MIDDAG GLOBAL, or All

The filter bar also shows the total count ("Showing 1-25 of 142").

Bulk actions

Select multiple organizations using the checkboxes, then use the bulk action dropdown:

  • Export CSV -- download selected organizations as a spreadsheet
  • Change billing entity -- reassign the billing entity for selected organizations

Creating a new organization

Click the + Create button in the top-right corner. The form asks for:

  • Name (trade name)
  • Legal name
  • Tax ID (CNPJ, EIN, or VAT -- format validated on input)
  • Country
  • Currency (defaults based on country)
  • Address
  • Email and phone

After saving, the new organization appears with Draft status and Pending verification. You can then proceed to verify it or invite collaborators.

Detail view (360 View)

Click any organization name in the list to open the detail view. This is the 360 View -- the single screen where you see everything about a customer.

The header shows:

  • Organization name with a verification badge (green for verified, yellow for pending, red for rejected)
  • Action buttons: Edit, Sync HubSpot, Verify/Reject (when applicable)
  • Key metadata inline: Tax ID, email, phone, city/state, Stripe customer IDs (BR and GLOBAL), HubSpot company IDs (BR and GLOBAL)

Tabs

Below the header, tabs organize the Organization's related records. Each tab name includes a count so you can see at a glance how much data exists.

TabWhat it shows
OverviewSummary stat cards + top-5 recent items + activity timeline
EntitlementsAll entitlements for this organization (filterable by class and status)
CollaboratorsTeam members with roles and scopes
QuotesCommercial proposals sent to this customer
OrdersPurchase history
InvoicesFinancial records and payment status
ContractsService agreements
EnvironmentsManaged hosting installations

DocumentsShared files, certificates, reports

Overview tab

The Overview tab is the default when you open an Organization. It shows:

  • Stat cards: Active Entitlements, Open Quotes, Pending Invoices, Team Members
  • Recent Entitlements: the 5 most recent entitlements, with code, class, status, and date
  • Recent Quotes: the 5 most recent quotes, with status and value
  • Activity timeline: the latest events for this organization (status changes, payments, syncs, invites)

Domain tabs

Each domain tab (Entitlements, Orders, Invoices, etc.) shows a filtered table scoped to this organization. The tables support the same search, filter, and sort capabilities as the top-level list pages. Clicking a row in any tab opens the detail view for that specific record.

Actions

From the Organization detail view, you can perform the following operations:

ActionWhen to use it
EditUpdate name, address, tax ID, contact details, or billing entity
VerifyApprove the organization after reviewing documentation (requires a note)
RejectReject verification with a required justification note
SuspendBlock portal access for all members without deleting any data
ArchiveMark an organization as inactive (hides from default list, data preserved)
Sync HubSpotTrigger a manual sync of this organization to/from HubSpot
MergeMerge a duplicate organization into this one (transfers all related records)
Link StripeManually associate or update Stripe customer IDs

Suspend and Archive are reversible. A suspended organization can be reactivated. An archived organization can be restored to active status.

Onboarding checklist

When you create a new Organization, the Overview tab shows an onboarding progress indicator:

  1. Organization created
  2. Tax ID verified
  3. Owner collaborator added
  4. First entitlement active

Completed steps are checked. Pending steps show what to do next. The checklist disappears once all steps are complete.
